I am a chip-aholic. Corn chips, more specifically. So when I saw this recipe for corn chip bars, I had to try it. It's so simple and quick. And very tasty.
I am not sure where I got it, but whoever posted this recipe, thank you. It's the perfect, quick dessert when you are knee-deep in summer activities!
Corn Chip Bars
Ingredients:
9.25 ounce bag of corn chips
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light corn syrjp
1 cup creamy peanut butter
11 (1.55 oz) milk chocolate bars
Instructions
Place corn chips in a greased 10 x 15 inch pan
In a saucepan, bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stire in the peanut butter until smooth. Pour this ove the chips and smooth to level.
Place chocolate bars in a single layoer over the hot mixture and wait a few minutes until the heat melts them, then smooth the chocolate ot to form a thin layers. Allow to cool, then cut into bars or break into pieces.
And that's it. Eazy peazy!
