There are two types of people in this world: those who read the instruction manuals and those who throw them in the trash. I am totally the one who follows them to a T. I was super thankful for the combine manual the past few weeks.
Getting the combine ready to go to the field is not a difficult task but it takes time and attention to detail. The process is the same as it is for vehicles, it's just where everything is located on my big ag machine that's different.
Some of the places they put the grease zerks on a combine is beyond me, but I guess that's why they make a manual.
Don't you wish there was a manual that could guide you through every step of your life? People, situations, and step by step instructions on how to deal? Yes, they have the “Life's Little Instruction Book” but that doesn’t come close to some of the things I’ve had to deal with. Some of us turn to God's word, some of us just push and forge through, some of us drink. We each have our own way of dealing with life. Whether it's work, home, school, or something else, it’s best to have a multitude of resources available.
Some of the best ones can be friends and family who can lend a listening ear and offer advice based on experience. The best ones let you make your own decisions because no one way is 100 percent right. Even instruction manuals have revisions because or errors or a better way was found to do something.
None of us can do life alone or perfectly. Every life, every situation, every set of resources is completely different. Just remember "You do you." Your life's instruction manual might look completely different than someone else's.
I mean, think about it, how many times have you thrown away the instructions for something only to end up pulling them back out of the trash?
