As we wrap up our month-long salute to Dairy Month and all things dairy, we thought it would be appropriate to share a few stories from the ladies who provide our families with milk, cheese, yogurt and butter! (Okay, and ice cream, and sour cream and whipped cream and the list goes on and on!)
The MidWest Dairy blog, "Dairy Makes Sense" has a wonderful post that introduces you to dairy moms from the Midwest. Written as a Mother's Day tribute by Sami Carter, it holds up any time of the year, because being a mom is a 365-day-a-year career. To steal a phrase from the Peace Corps, being a mom is "The toughest job you'll ever love."
