National Donut Day redo

National Donut Day redo

It's #NationalDonutDay. Celebrated on the first Friday of June, this day harkens back to World War 1. According to the National Day Calendar, Salvation Army Lassies wanted to do more than restock food supplies and instead provide the troops with home-cooked meals. "The story says the doughnuts were cooked inside the helmets of the troops, dubbing them as 'doughboys,' which was a standard term used for donut," according to the National Day Calendar.

So, in honor of those Salvation Army Lassies, vote in our poll and let us know your favor. Last year, there was a very clear winner, with 39% of the vote. We'd like to see if last year's winner is STILL #1 in your hearts, or should we say, on your taste buds.

Vote, and we'll let you know the results next week!
