What would you like to know?

What would you like to know?

From the editor of On Your Table

With the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc with everything from jobs to toilet paper stocks, it's tough to know what people want or need to know when it comes to your food.

Suddenly, all of those arguments about whether organic or conventional is healthier for you or better for the environment, or how cow burps are ruining the planet seem a little silly. Most of us are wondering how we're going to stay healthy during this crisis.

We are truly #inthistogether, not just during the pandemic, but every other day as well. As Americans, we enjoy a safe and abundant food supply, and although grocery stores have sometimes had trouble keeping shelves stocked, farmers and ranchers are still calving and preparing to put seed in the ground where they can. It is a job they take very seriously, and even more so in difficult times.

So let us know how we can help. What questions do you have about food during this time? Send your questions to onyourtable@ndfb.org and we will respond directly and post the response on our Ask a Farmer page.
