You say doughnut I say donut

You say doughnut I say donut

Today, June 5, is National Donut (Doughnut) Day. Why the parenthesis? Because while "donut" is widely used, the Associated Press says that "doughnut" is still the preferred spelling. And any editor who wants to follow the rules, adheres to the AP Style. But then, upon doing a little research (and we mean about 10 minutes worth) we found that even Merriam Webster (the dictionary people) indicates "donut" is a-okay.

Oof-dah! What to do?

So, we decided to ask our readers! Please weigh in, and we'll spell it the way the majority of you say it should be spelled.
