County Farm Bureau hosting GMO panel

If you've ever had questions about genetic modification in crop and livestock production, attend Cass County Farm Bureau's GMO discussion panel on Tuesday, October 27 at the Holiday Inn, in Fargo.
The audience will have the opportunity to ask farmers how they use GMOs on their operations as well as a mom and college student who share their own opinions on GMOs.
Anyone who has questions about GMOs and would like to interact with farmers and others in the agriculture industry who use the technology should consider attending the event.
Panelists will be:
Val Wagner – corn, soybean, wheat, hay and cattle farmer from Monango, N.D.
Carl Peterson – founder and CEO of Peterson Farms Seed in Harwood, N.D.
Mikayla Young – NDSU student from Napoleon, N.D., and former state FFA officer
Roxane Salonen – mother of five and writer from Fargo, N.D.
Moderator is Chris Berg of KVLY’s 630 Point of View, North Dakota Today and Bison football pre-game TV shows.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in Dakota Hall at the Holiday Inn, 3803 13th Ave. South. Refreshments will be served.
