Education mini-grants offered
North Dakota Farm Bureau is offering competitive mini-grants of up to $250.00 cash for use in classroom programs K-12 in North Dakota schools.
The goal this year is to present information to students that will increase agricultural literacy by way of raising awareness of the importance of animal agriculture.
“Agriculture is an important part of all our lives. The program objective is to enhance student knowledge of the contribution made by animal agriculture, and to teach people that farmers and ranchers take good care of their livestock” said Gail Bakko, NDFB Director of Special Programs.
North Dakota Farm Bureau will also provide educational resources relevant to the topic of the projects that are funded.
