David Widmar shares insights on farming through good and bad times in his keynote address. Widmar is an agricultural economist specializing in ag trends and the farm economy. Through his research, he supports agribusinesses and farmers in their strategic and planning efforts.
Minnesota Farm Bureau's tour includes visits to Crary Manufacturing, RDO and Northern Crops Institute. The cost is $40 and starts at noon at the Delta Hotel at 1635 42nd St SW, Fargo. Attendees must drive themselves to the Delta if they plan to attend.


The YF&R Discussion Meet is a competitive event designed to build crucial skills in problem solving and reaching consensus. The winner of the state competition represents North Dakota at the national competition. In addition, there is an impressive list of prizes.
