NDFB Week

Telling the story of agriculture one slice at a time.
NDFB Week is March 12-18. It's a time for our organization to share the good news of agriculture and all the positive ways agriculture influences our lives.
One of the ways NDFB shares how agriculture influences us is through a program called Special Assignment Pizza (SAP). The NDFB Promotion and Education Committee spearheads the SAP program at events across the state where committee members share with young people how everything from the crust to the toppings on their pizza all start on a farm.
As part of our celebration, we are holding an art contest for fourth and fifth grade students.
Students were asked to draw their favorite pizza and indicate how each of the ingredients are tied to North Dakota agriculture. We will award a winner in each grade in the following categories:
- Creativity and originality of the theme
- Quality of artistic composition and overall design
All four winners will receive $50 each, and will be published in NDFB's nesletter, Focus.
