2021 NDFB Annual Meeting coming in November
Topic: Events
Bismarck, ND -- Agriculture is ever-changing and with current challenges facing producers it is important to keep North Dakota agriculture strong. On November 19 and 20, NDFB members will gather at the Holiday Inn in Fargo to discuss and vote on policy that will guide the organization through the next year.
This year’s theme is “Your Competitive Edge.” Being involved in policy at the state and national level and belonging to an organization dedicated to enhancing and securing the future of agriculture gives members a competitive edge in an evolving industry.
“NDFB has, and always will, play a significant role in shaping the future of agriculture,” said NDFB Executive Vice President and CEO Jeffrey Missling. “Belonging to NDFB provides our members with a competitive edge to succeed. Members are given an atmosphere to network, a platform to develop and implement public policy, opportunities for growth on farms and ranches, and access to the latest trends in our industry.”
Opening general session will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and will lead into the delegate session where voting delegates will discuss and vote on policies. The NDFB Collegiate Discussion Meet will take place on Friday at 5:15 p.m. The winner will compete at the AFBF Young Farmer and Rancher Conference in Louisville, Ky., February 25-28, 2022. Friday evening will include the NDFB Promotion and Education live auction that benefits a variety of scholarships to help those not only studying for careers, but for those who are attending college to change careers.
The delegate session will continue Saturday morning and lead into president, vice president and district elections.
During Saturday night’s banquet, attendees will have a chance to unwind and share some laughs with well-known Christian comedian, Brad Stine.
