A day in the life of a lobbyist

The first quarter of every odd numbered year, My NDFB Life becomes a frantic exercise of daily brush fires punctuated by exhilarating success and frustrating disappointment: Welcome to the world of a professional lobbyist. I guess I have no one to blame but myself; after all, it is my chosen profession and has been a very rewarding career for 30 years.  What is my life is like while the North Dakota Legislature is in session?

A typical day at the Legislature often starts between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m.
