A trip down harvest memory lane

It’s hard to believe the calendar has already turned to August. Where did the summer go? June and July were a complete blur in my world. Many people are busy with back-to-school preparations and squeezing in last minute family vacations this month. However, in my mind August means one thing… harvest is here!

Harvest means the next few months will be an absolute whirlwind. Not only do we have wheat, soybeans, and corn to harvest between now and October, but we also have a third cutting of alfalfa to bale and cattle to bring home. Whew – it makes me exhausted just thinking about it.
