Myths and misconceptions about agriculture. How things are done on the farm and ranch and why things are done on the farm and ranch are often misrepresented by people that are looking for a cause, for just a cause.

Well at NDFB we have taken it upon ourselves to engage in conversations with the consumer; with people that aren’t familiar with what happens on the farm and ranch. Our new website, onyourtable.org, takes on some of those challenges of having the discussions with people that are not on the farm and ranch about what happens on the farm and ranch.

It’s a unique way for us to provide some facts of why we do what we do, how we do what we do and even to the point, that when we do it, we are no different than a consumer; than the mom and dad that lives in town. The mom and dad on the farm are very similar. In fact, one of the latest blogs featured onyourtable.org talks about that we really aren’t that different. Mom and dads on the farm or ranch care about making a living for their family, they want to keep their family healthy, and sometimes that requires the same kind of care with our livestock, or the crops we grow.

So, if you want to find out how similar we truly are, and that our differences are minimal, you can visit ndfb.org on our homepage and click the On Your Table page, or you can go straight to onyourtable.org, because this is where truth meets food.
