Save the date: The Discussion Meet will be held during the Farm and Ranch Conference, January 25-27 at the Ramada Bismarck Hotel. The Discussion Meet is a leadership competition for young farmers and ranchers between the ages of 18 and 35. The contest is judged on an exchange of ideas and information on a pre-determeined topic.

Participants build basic discussion skills, develop a keen understanding of important agricultural issues and explore how groups can pool knowledge to reach consensus and solve problems. Four finalists will compete for a four-wheeler and a trip to the national competition in Austin, Texas.
