Flood fighting farmer featured in Focus, online

North Dakota Farm Bureau's official bimonthly publication Focus is now posted online, and features a story on flooding fighting farmer, Paul Thomas.

Paul is well-known in Farm Bureau. He has been a member and chairman of the Young Farmer and Rancher Committee, and he also won the NDFB Discussion Meet a few years back, earning him a trip to the national competition and a place in the Sweet Sixteen, the top 16 competitors in the meet.

But for Velva residents, he was the go-to-guy when the Souris River began its historic rise.
