Good news, bad news

We have some good news. And some bad news.

The good news is, according to the last public attitude survey from American Farm Bureau Federation about farmers and ranchers, a majority of U.S. adults have a positive view of farmers’ sustainability practices, and an overwhelming majority trust farmers.

More than half (58%) of the 2,200 people surveyed rated the sustainability practices of U.S. farmers positively, with broad agreement from a majority of adults across demographic groups.
