Hoosier tours the west

My Mom and I are on a quest to see all 50 states and after this week, we will have just a few to check off our list. I don’t even know how it started, but it has been a wonderful adventure. Every state has something beautiful to see; some memorable landmark or famous place. Many places most folks have heard of such as the Adirondack Mountains of the Northeast or the deserts of New Mexico. But then there are the landmarks only the locals know about; places like Salem Sue in North Dakota.

We started this summer’s adventure by flying to Spokane, Washington and renting a car to head toward Glacier National Park in Montana. If you’ve ever made the trek to Glacier, you know there’s no convenient way to get there.
