Monday mornings are never easy. This past Monday morning was an especially hard one. I got up to four text messages that told me that the North Dakota State Fair had officially been cancelled. Instantly tears welled up in my eyes. The heartache that my kids and other show families will experience from this is hard to wrap my head around.  

For those who just attend the state fair for the corn dogs and the concerts, this is just another disappointment in the COVID pandemic. For my kids and their show friends, this is devastating.
