It's Farm Safety and Health Week

National Farm Safety and Health Week is September 18-24. And the National Children’s Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety, part of the National Farm Medicine Center and Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, has published a second edition of “Agritourism Health and Safety Guidelines for Children.”

The guide was developed to help operators provide a safe, fun experience for young visitors. The guidelines are supplemented by two checklist publications, “Policies and Procedures Guide” and the “Worksite Guide.”
 
National Farm Safety and Health Week has been recognized since 1944 during the third week of September. Visit the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety online for more information.
