What does the NDFB Foundation do?
For several years, the Foundation has funded continuing education through scholarships and educator workshops for teachers to help them incorporate agriculture into their classroom studies. The Foundation also supports outreach programs like Living Ag Classroom and Special Assignment Pizza, which teach children how their favorite pizza and toppings all start on a farm. The Foundation also provides relief to farm and ranch families who have suffered losses from weather-related disasters. The NDFB Foundation assists in the promotion of NDFB’s On Your Table website. The site helps consumers feel better about their food choices by busting some of the widely circulated myths about our food supply and the farmers and ranchers who raise it.
