Living Ag in the Classroom

Topic: Events

The Living Ag in the Classroom program helps educate fourth-grade students about the diversity of North Dakota agriculture and how it relates to the food on their plate. Students spend time learning about different commodities in a fun and interactive way at a variety of booths manned by agriculture organizations.

NDFB sponsors the sugar booth at the events. At the LAC event in Minot during the KMOT Ag Expo, Granville FFA officers helped man NDFB's booth.

According to the KMOT Ag Expo website, more than 13,000 students have had the benefit of learning about how food goes from farm to plate at the Minot event.
