North Dakota Farm Bureau Executive Vice President Jeffrey Missling, Fargo, has been appointed to two farm-related advisory panels.
Missling will serve on the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank’s Advisory Council on Agriculture for a three year term.
The Advisory Council on Agriculture is advisory to the Bank’s Board of Directors. The Council, established in 1985, has ten members appointed by the Bank president for staggered terms. The Council meets two times a year.
Missling will also serve a three-year term on the Red River Farm Network Farm Advisory Panel. The panel is comprised of 12 members and meets annually to talk about key issues facing agriculture.
“I am humbled and excited by these opportunities,” Missling said. “Serving with a group of industry peers on each of these advisory councils will allow Farm Bureau to stay on top of the latest issues impacting agriculture financially and philosophically, and allow us to contribute to solutions based on the beliefs of our members.
