NDFB hires Smith

North Dakota Farm Bureau hired Conor Smith as the organization’s Leadership Development Assistant for the southeast part of the state.

“Conor’s experience has largely encompassed international affairs and business,” said NDFB Director of Leadership Development John Jacobson. “His interest in politics, enthusiasm and past experiences makes him a tremendous fit for this position.”

Conor is originally from Wahpeton, N.D. and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and received a Master of Law from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

“I’m very excited to come home and work with the farmers and ranchers of North Dakota, after spending years abroad,” said Conor. “There’s something special about our home state, and I want to give back even a little bit of what it has given to me.”

Conor started his duties on February 12 and is based out of the NDFB Fargo office.

A full listing of NDFB employees can be found on the North Dakota Farm Bureau website at www.ndfb.org/?id=92.

North Dakota Farm Bureau is the most effective general farm and ranch organization in the state of North Dakota, with more than 27,000 members and 50 organized county Farm Bureaus.
