No empty nest at My NDFB Life

A day after we drove to to one side of the state to see our daughter off to college — thereby making hubby and I “empty nesters” — we drove to the other side of the state to get an eight-week-old puppy.

On the way there, hubby says, “Are you sure we’re ready for this?”

I said, “Well, I’m driving there. I guess we’ll find out.”

And what did I find out?

That. I. Am. Exhausted.

And that going to work is now the calmest part of my day! (Thank you, NDFB!)
