Overby joins NDFB staff

Topic: Leadership

NDFB has hired Megan Overby for the position of Northeast Field Representative. Overby is based out of Binford, North Dakota.

Overby’s primary focus is supporting NDFB members in the Northeast part of the state, including Benson, Cavalier, Eddy, Foster, Grand Forks, Griggs, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Steele, Towner, Traill and Walsh counties.

Overby worked for Minnesota Farm Bureau before her most recent job with the Red River Farm Network where she served as an agriculture journalist. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University in animal science and a minor in ag communications plus a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Concordia College.

Overby’s passion for agriculture started at a young age and continued to grow throughout her college and professional careers. She is excited to live out that passion for agriculture through the NDFB field staff position.

“Megan’s passion for agriculture and strong work ethic will be a true asset for her county Farm Bureaus,” said Joey Bailey, NDFB Director of Organizational Development. “We are thrilled to have Megan help advocate for agriculture through her work with NDFB.”
