Putting out fires was a fan favorite

Topic: Events

Fall came and went quickly for me. Before I knew it, it was time to take in the largest cattle show in North Dakota, the North Star Classic Cattle show. I have been exhibiting cattle there for as long as I can remember, and now my husband and I are keeping that tradition going. It’s a fun, laid back show and brings so many of our friends together from across the state. Another plus is it’s almost in our back yard, so being able to go home and sleep in our own bed each night is a huge plus!

In addition to bringing cattle to the show, I was able to be a part of the Ag Safety Bash that Barnes County Farm Bureau put on. This was the first year for the safety bash, and I hope we get to do it every year because it was a great addition for all the junior exhibitors.
