Sharing the story of agriculture

As agriculturalists, we have heard the term “agvocate” many times. For anyone who hasn’t, it’s basically a play on the word advocate; advocating for agriculture.

I, along with many other NDFB staff, attend countless conferences that speak on this topic. It may sound repetitive to many of us, but it’s still important to keep in mind because many people in our communities have no idea what farmers and ranchers do each day.

I had the opportunity to be a volunteer outside of work at an event that invites non-ag individuals throughout their community to take part in a night of fun and education about where their food comes from.
