Take the leap! Attend the Farm and Ranch Conference

When I was a sophomore in college, I never imagined I would be where I am today. I had just transferred to Dickinson State. I didn’t know many people but the staff in the ag department encouraged me to join Collegiate Farm Bureau and Ag Club. I was nervous but decided to join.

The next thing I know, I’m signed up to attend the NDFB Farm and Ranch Conference. That first conference really brought me out of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to opportunities that could come about in my future. It was a weekend filled with lots of networking, educational breakouts, and meeting new people who have become lifelong friends! I left that first conference feeling invigorated about the future of agriculture. I so was excited about NDFB, I couldn’t wait to get more involved!
