The balancing act

The balancing act

by Haley Robison, NDFB Southwest Field Representative

I’ve spent my entire life being involved in many different things. It started with 4-H, sports, band, choir, etc. We were always keeping ourselves busy and involved. Some days I often wonder how my parents managed all four of us girls going so many different directions.

I now find myself in another phase of life where I’m going a million different directions. My main survival tool at this point is my planner. I’ve always been one to write everything down. I wouldn’t know what day it is if it weren’t for that planner. I try my best to stay organized but sometimes things don’t go as planned and I just have to roll with the punches.

My husband Max and I have a toddler and another baby on the way. Pregnancy with a toddler is a whole new journey I find myself in. It’s crazy and exhausting, but I love every minute of it. Along with chasing a two-year-old, Max and I raise cattle. As many of you know, ranching is a full-time job.
