The most wonderful time of the year

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” These lyrics from the classic Christmas carol have been stuck in my head ever since the calendar turned to December. Okay, let’s be honest, maybe even before then.

Judging by the endless amount of decor scattered throughout our house (my husband can attest to this), it’s safe to say Christmas is my favorite holiday. There is something so serene about the sparkle of fresh snow, the smell of fresh pine, the soft glow of lights and the gifts gathered under the tree.

But beyond the materialistic things of Christmas, there are many other blessings I am grateful for this holiday season. Although the list of blessings in my life was hard to whittle down, I am grateful for what I am dubbing the ‘Three F’s.’
