We say it all the time, but agriculture plays an important role in all of our lives.

Sure, North Dakota farmers and ranchers help keep all of us clothed and fed. Who doesn’t love to eat?

But it goes beyond that.

Agriculture is also important to our state’s economy. It helps keep other businesses in business. And the more diversified our agriculture is, the easier it is to weather the ups and downs of markets.
