Tractor safety instruction for youth

Tractor Safety Camp is designed to teach young people how to be safe on the farm. The camp is for youth ages 13-15 who plan to work on a farm and is required by the Hazardous Occupations Order in Agriculture (HOOA) for youth to work for someone other than their immediate family.

Each camp is limited to 25 participants so if you have a 13-15 year old who is going to be operating a tractor, please consider having them participate in this camp. Cost is $175.

Tractor Safety Camp – East
May 31, June 1 and 2
NDSU Campus, Dinan Hall
1337 Administration Avenue, Fargo, ND 58102
Check-in: 10 a.m. CDT Tuesday, May 31
Check-out: Thursday, June 2 – Parent Leadership in Action Event at 2 p.m., graduation ceremony and check-out to follow.

(Families not enrolled in 4-H will need to click the “Don’t have an account” button, which will allow them to register for the event without having to enroll
in a 4-H club.)
