Collegiate Discussion Meet

Test your discussion and communications skills! Student members between the ages of 18 and 24 can now participate in NDFB's Collegiate Farm Bureau Discussion Meet competitions. (Prior to this year, only students who were part of a Collegiate Farm Bureau club could participate.)

What is the Discussion Meet? It is a competition designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each participant. The competition is evaluated on an exchange of ideas and information on a pre-determined topic. Participants build basic discussion skills, develop a keen understanding of important agricultural issues, and explore how groups can pool knowledge to reach consensus and solve problems.
