Did you know it only takes 8-10 seconds to get trapped in flowing grain? Learn about farm safety and more on our NDFB Week page.
Eric’s Custom 3D Grain was founded by Eric and Shania Schaney and began from Eric’s lifelong passion for collecting farm toys. From a young age, he noticed that farm displays lacked realistic detail and wanted to create more accurate, true-to-life setups. What started as a personal hobby quickly grew when Eric purchased his first 3D printer with no intention of selling—only creating pieces for his own displays. After sharing photos of his work on Facebook, interest took off. He began receiving messages from people asking if he would create and sell detailed replicas of their own farms.
Over the past few years, Eric’s Custom 3D Grain has grown significantly, expanding from one printer to ten running 24/7, replicating real-life farms for customers across the United States and Canada. Eric’s wife, Shania, stays home with their young children while helping manage the business by sending Eric’s digital designs to the printers and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
If you are interested in having your farm recreated, please contact Eric through his Eric’s Custom 3D Grain Facebook page.
